Internship

Internships

Students are required to complete an 8 week internship at an organization involved in communicating science.  These internship opportunities provide our students with invaluable real world experience and allow them to produce high quality science communication products they can add to their portfolio.

Internships take place during the last term of the program, from the middle of April to mid-June. Some of the host institutions from the past years include the Discovery Channel, Natural Resources Canada, Experimentarium in Copenhagen, SNOLab and World Wildlife Fund Canada just to name a few.

If you are interested in hosting an internship, or have more questions about internship opportunities please contact Chantal Barriault (barriault@sciencenorth.ca) for more details.
