For our littlest Halloween fans, we’re introducing Lil’ Pumpkins, an early, daytime opportunity to experience Halloween at Dynamic Earth before the sun goes down and bedtime arrives!
Bring your little ones for a stroll through the Pumpkinferno Trail and enjoy some toddler-friendly Halloween fun at a time that works for younger children. Since the trail is viewed during daylight hours, the sets will look a little different than they do at night, but that’s part of the appeal! There are no spooky shadows or nighttime lighting effects, making Lil’ Pumpkins a great option for young children and anyone who prefers a quieter, less intense Halloween experience.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a daytime experience. For the full illuminated Pumpkinferno experience, we recommend visiting after dark.

Location: Dynamic Earth
Time Commitment: Flexible weekends
Description: Join us with your Halloween spirit and lend a hand for the following activities:
- Engage with visitors outdoors in our award-winning exhibit, Pumpkinferno
- Deliver themed family friendly activities, games and workshops
Shifts are Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5:45pm to 9:15pm between October 2 and October 30, 2026.
All volunteers are required to attend a mandatory training session on Thursday September 24. Once an online application is received, more details about training will be provided. Grab your friends and enjoy thrilling fun this fall at Dynamic Earth!

- HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

You must buy your tickets online in advance. Timed tickets can be booked every half hour. Please arrive no sooner than 15 minutes early.
- I'M A MEMBER! HOW DO I GET MY DISCOUNTED TICKETS ONLINE?

As a Science North member, you have to log-in to your Science North account. There you will see the members only (50% off) pricing of general admission for Halloween.
- IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?

Yes, limited parking is available at Dynamic Earth for $3. We accept Visa, Mastercard and exact change only.
- WHY IS THERE NO FREE PARKING ANYMORE?

For free parking, there will be a FREE Shuttle bus from Leuschen Transportation, parking and access to the shuttle is at 1299 Lorne Street, Sudbury, ON P3C 5M9.
- WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Yes, food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Copper Cauldron — the KGHM Victoria Café will be closed.
- WHY IS THERE NO UNDERGROUND TOUR THIS YEAR?

Our Underground Mine Tours is not being offered this year due to lower visitor demand. We’re always reviewing our programming to make sure we’re offering experiences that our visitors are most excited to explore.
- ARE THERE FLEX TICKETS THIS YEAR?

No, we are not offering Flex Tickets this year to optimize parking and guest flow to ensure the best guest experience possible.
