DIVERSE AUDIENCE COMMUNITY CONSULTATIONS
We want to hear from you! Your voice matters as we shape experiences that reflect and serve our diverse communities. As part of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, we're committed to learning with and from the people we serve.
This year, we are working to conduct consultations to listen to and learn with diverse audiences so we can grow our understanding of diverse communities, identify community aspirations and barriers that exist to engagement with Science North, and foster conversations on how Science North can serve these communities. This is just the beginning; in the years ahead, we’ll keep the conversation going, building deeper collaboration, feedback, and co-creation.
Join us for a drop-in style open house session, a virtual session, or complete our diverse audiences community survey to share your thoughts and have your voice heard!
IN-PERSON SESSIONS
In-person sessions will be drop-in style and will include options for giving feedback in many ways, including verbally, visually, and in writing. There will be options for engaging individually or within a group. Light refreshments will be provided, and Bluecoat-led children’s activities will be available. You will also receive a small gift as a thank you for your participation.
(Most in-person sessions will be focused upon gathering feedback from specific communities. If you do not see your community represented yet, you are welcome to attend an open / mixed in-person session, the virtual session, or complete the online survey.)

Can’t make it to an in-person session but want to share your thoughts with our team in real-time? This online session will use interactive tools and group discussions to help us gather feedback. Pre-registration is required to receive the link to join the meeting. This session is open to individuals across Northern Ontario from any diverse community.

ONLINE SURVEY
Individuals from across Northern Ontario who identify as a member of one or more diverse communities — or who support or champion the needs of someone who identifies as a member of these communities — can contribute feedback through a short online survey. Your name and other identifying information will not be collected as a part of the survey.
This survey will be available for responses until Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
