Science North is Northern Ontario’s most popular tourist attraction and an educational resource for children and adults across the globe.
Visitors can experience 4 levels of attractions, plus an IMAX® theatre, dome Planetarium, special exhibitions, and object theatres. Watch explosions, hangout with live animals, see tropical butterflies, build a race car...each visit is unique as a snowflake!
DYNAMIC EARTH – HOME OF THE BIG NICKEL
Dynamic Earth is a hands-on, immersive science centre which offers earth sciences and mining experiences. It is also home to the biggest coin in the world, the Big Nickel!
This interactive experience — which includes an iconic guided underground mine tour, multimedia theatres and interesting exhibits — is fun for visitors of all ages and takes place in an interactive and educational environment.
