Ordering made easy! Science North has a walk-up window, and all orders are made fresh on-demand. You can either wait for your order or take a table number, and the staff will bring it to you.

WEATHER POLICY

  • The Patio is covered and will operate rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, service and entertainment will be moved inside to Elements Restaurant. While we will do our best to deliver a memorable lakeside experience each night, we ask for your understanding if the weather forces us inside. We have your safety and comfort in mind.  

PETS ALLOWED (leashes mandatory)

  • You bring the leash, we'll provide the water bowl! Furry friends are welcome provided they are on leash at all times and supervised. We thank you for helping to make The Patio a welcoming space for all.

PARKING

  • Free parking is available in the Science North main lot. If you're planning on drinking, please arrange a safe ride home.

JULY 11 — EMI and CLAUDIO

  • Emi is a talented Grade 9 student at Lockerby Composite School. Originally from Chile, she arrived in Canada four years ago and has since embraced music and theatre as central parts of her life. She sings, plays multiple instruments, and is an active volunteer with Sudbury Performance Group. Emi has appeared in numerous local theatre productions, including Madagascar, Annie Jr., Jesus Christ Superstar, Matilda, and Oliver. Her father, Claudio, also from Chile, blends his technical career with a deep passion for the arts. An Industrial Engineer and HVAC Technician by day, Claudio has been an active member of Sudbury’s arts scene since the family’s arrival in 2021. He has performed in musicals such as RENT, ABBA: Gold, and Jesus Christ Superstar, and brings Latin American culture to life through his performances as a singer and Latin percussionist. In September 2023, the City of Greater Sudbury and Sudbury.com recognized the Peralta family with the “Greater Together” award for their outstanding contribution to the arts and their positive impact on the community.
JULY 12 — MONOCHROME

  • Monochrome is a Sudbury-based duo featuring Cassandra and Quinton. Known for their fun, heartfelt take on classic rock and ‘90s alt hits, they bring feel-good energy, tight harmonies, and a touch of cheeky banter to every show.
JULY 17 — ASHLEY WOODRUFF and ROGER SUKOLUK

  • Ashley Woodruff, a pop and adult contemporary artist from Sudbury, has performed across Ontario, even earning TV exposure. Recently, she teamed up with her father, Roger Sukoluk, who made his return to the stage after more than 20 years!

JULY 24 — ALLISON MACDONALD

  • Hailing from the Valley, Allison brings the soul of her hometown to every performance. She is renowned for her powerful vocals and ability to effortlessly connect with her audience.  There is no one style to describe her repertoire, but powerful female artists are always top of the set list, as they’ve been a continued source of inspiration throughout Allison's musical career.
JULY 25 — AT DAWN

  • Andrea (AT Dawn) is a local musician from the Sudbury area, where she was born and raised. A proud mom and educator, she feels grateful to be part of a supportive and talented northern music community. With roots in rock bands and a love for music that spans genres and generations, Andrea is now exploring a more personal path as a solo artist. Her performances include a mix of rock, folk, country, and pop—and her sets are always delivered with heart, soul and a passion for the shared experience of live music.
JULY 26 — TESSA and PETR  

  • Tessa and Petr Balaz are multi-disciplinary artists and have now spent almost a decade writing and producing original music and on production teams for major artists including Daniel Caesar, Drake, the Weeknd, Migos, Mariah Carey and more. They have been nominated for 4 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards and the Sudbury Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts. They have had their original music licensed to film and television, most recently to “Kim’s Convenience” season 4. They also run Balaz Media where services include grant writing, artist entrepreneur consultations and support, and music production and recording services. Petr has served as a sound technician for 12 YES Theatre productions and sound designer for 2 productions.
JULY 31 — CASS and JACK

  • Cassandra and Jack first met at a talent show in 2021, where they were competing in their respective rock bands; Restored and Pop Mach!ne. Since then, they have started jamming acoustic music together, performing at various venues and events around the Sudbury area, including: Fionn MacCool’s, The Hilton, the Trevi Tavern, The Townehouse, Ribfest, and Poutinefest. Cass & Jack love the challenge of trying to cover multiple genres of music with just two acoustic guitars and vocals.
AUGUST 1 — HARMONY HILL

AUGUST 9 — KELSEIDOSCOPE

  • Kelseidoscope is a Canadian singer-songwriter and artist. She creates music with a focus on healing and empowerment, drawing inspiration from her life experiences and a unique perspective shaped by living in different parts of the world. Her music, described as folk-pop with a hint of 70s rock, aims to evoke emotion and reflection through catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics. 
AUGUST 14 — SARAH CRAIG JAZZ TRIO w/ JY BEGIN and CHRIS DARDICK

  • Sarah Craig embodies the allure of a classic evening jazz vocalist, pairing her sophisticated piano skills with a soulful sensibility. Sarah’s career spans over 20 years as a keyboardist, vocalist, and music teacher. She has recorded 3 full-length albums, much of the original material co-written with Sudbury blues musician Paul Dunn. Sarah is a pleasure to watch live, often playing alongside some of the top players in our city.

  • Born into a musical family in Cornwall, Ontario, Chad Rivette was destined for a life filled with melodies and lyrics. His childhood was a symphony of sounds, ranging from his mother's soothing lullabies to his father's lively guitar riffs. Growing up in this rich musical environment, Chad quickly developed a deep love for country music, drawing inspiration from legends like His Father Frank, Alabama and Johnny Cash. Renée Frappier has been singing from the age of 9 under the tutelage of Sudburian Jeff Wiseman and also has a robust background in theatre.
