Science North and Dynamic Earth are situated on the traditional and ancestral lands of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nation in Robinson-Huron Treaty territory. Science North is grateful to work with First Nations across Northern Ontario and we give thanks to the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial. We pay respect to their traditions, ways of knowing, and acknowledge their many contributions to innovations in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, past and present. We also recognize the Métis Nation of Ontario for their historic and ongoing contributions. Science North commits to deepening engagement, relationships and partnerships in order to advance truth and reconciliation, honour and reflect Indigenous ways of knowing, grow economic opportunities, and collaborate with Indigenous peoples as partners in order to inspire all people to be engaged with science in the world around them.

- The Science North lobby stays open late — including the small Snowflake area, IMAX®, Planetarium, and Exhibit Hall!
- After 5:00pm, you can visit the Exhibit Hall for $5 even if you don’t have daytime Science Centre admission!

- The Whizards Gift Shop and Elements Restaurant are open all day for your convenience!

- DO I NEED A TICKET?

Outdoor activities are free and do not require an admission ticket! Indoor activities require a ticket — 50% off during the day. Members get into the science centre for free. Skip the line, buy online!
- IS PARKING FREE? WHERE CAN I PARK?

Yes, parking is free and available on a first come, first served basis. Our lot will fill up. Additional parking will be available at Paris and York Streets.
- IS THERE RAMSEY LAKE BOARDWALK ACCESS AT SCIENCE NORTH?

The boardwalk access along Science North’s property is temporarily closed. Our beloved wooden boardwalk along Ramsey Lake is taking a little break for some much-needed TLC and repairs, making access from Science North temporarily closed. But don't worry! You can still access the paved section of the walkway from the Paris and Elizabeth Street entrances. Our team of experts is currently assessing the repairs needed and how long our boardwalk will be closed.
- WHAT ARE THE HOURS TO GET FOOD?

- DO YOU HAVE WATER BOTTLE REFILL STATIONS?

Yes, we have indoor and outdoor water filling stations. Please bring your own refillable water bottle as Science North does not sell plastic bottled water.
- CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Dogs on leashes are permitted outdoors only. Service dogs are allowed into the centre, with proper documentation.
- CAN I SWIM?

No swimming on-premises, but there is beach access to swim at Bell Park.
- IS THERE A PLACE TO DRINK ALCOHOL OR SMOKE?

Alcohol will not be served or permitted onsite. Smoking is prohibited on the Science North marketplace. Cannabis is strictly prohibited on Science North grounds.
