FOR TEACHERS

A GUIDE TO THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

With the help of funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada, Science North is offering A Guide to the Immune SystemFREE school programs for Grades 2 to 12. These programs are for you and your students to learn about the immune system, staying healthy and the critical role vaccines play in sound public health strategies. They are a part of our Give Vaccines a Shot initiative.

The school programs are live, interactive sessions delivered in three separate weeks. Each week will have programs for five grade groupings linked to their science curriculums.

For more school programs, visit schools.sciencenorth.ca

All programs run approximately 30-40 minutes in length.

All sessions will be recorded and made available to view through our website. We will also make post-session activities available that you can do with your students to continue the learning. Feel free to try the activities from other grades, as they are all useful in teaching about the science of the immune system.
